Hi Del
Love that DBFUTILS thing!
I know I told you before - For an xBASE programmer your
dbfutils is a lifesaver. It ranks up there with PKZIP and
TS (Norton's text search circa 1995) - I use it and NEED
it every day while programming

Hi
Del,
Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for such a great
product. I use APOLLO for VB so I am somewhat familiar with
their work...However, for years (since 1982) I have been using
dBASE II/III to access and do stuff on files...Of course dBASE
does not support CLIPPER NTX's which is the format I use.
I recently purchased and registered dbfUtils and I have to
say what a great piece of software...You obviously put a lot
of thought into it and it is a really mature system. I just
happened on the report writer by accident - I use R&R's
Report Writer for systems that I write for folks - but the
report writer accessory in dbfUtils fills in the gaps that
dBASE has such count, sum etc..
Thanks again Del
Cheers
Rob
Thanx
Del,
I have been meaning to this for bloody ages. It certainly
saved my bacon. I had a table that contained countries and
code codes, however I could not locate any record that started
with "U". Using Foxpro I re-indexed, packed and
recreated the table. Still no joy. Out of pure frustration
I downloaded dbfutils and packed the table and tried again.
Now ALL records can be found. Also I love some of the new
features you have got. Especially the Fill table. That will
come in soo handy for testing purposes. Well Done.
Regards
Andy
